The Details
Passengers are greeted in a warm wooden corridor that is in keeping with the ‘Canadian’ feel of the place.
A stand-out, hip lounge area is placed in the very centre of the lounge, with artful lighting and comfortable seating.
Surrounding this on the far ends are lounge seating with side-tables, many of which face the floor to ceiling windows that boast views of the gate areas.
Closer to the lounge entrance, dining tables and bar tables are provided in generous numbers, adjacent to the buffet area. The buffet is relatively standard, with self-service drinks and snacks, however, there is no tended bar.
On the other side of the central lounge block, secluded partitions and comfortable flat-lounges provide a dark and quiet environment to sleeping recuperate.
The artfully presented lounge is duly impressive for the Canadian carrier, and provides a hip and modern place to unwind before flying. If you’re travelling through Frankfurt and are eligible for access, it is certainly a place to visit.
