One of the many lounges in Munich, this swanky new space provides a soothing environment to unwind before a flight.
Access

- Miles & More HON Circle members
- Miles & More Senator members
- Lufthansa First Class passengers
- Star Alliance/ Lufthansa Codeshare Partner First Class passengers
Passengers must have a confirmed boarding pass for a Lufthansa/ Codeshare/ Star Alliance flight departing the same day.
NOTE: Business Class passengers without a Star Alliance Gold, HON Circle or Senator card are ineligible to use this lounge, and may instead use the dedicated Business Lounge.
The Pros
Looks incredible, with perfect lighting, high ceilings, wooden décor and a soft ambience in the far end.
Full buffet spread with large choice of food and drinks, all self-service.
A beautiful, fully-tended bar is situated towards the far end of the lounge, with a bartended mixing up whatever you would so desire.
There is a more quiet lounge area right at the end, with softer lighting and large TV screens, as well as a few work-desks with power supply.
Complimentary Lufthansa pens are scattered all the way through the lounge, on all the tables.
The lounge offers several ‘zones’: resting lounge, casual lounge, work area and dining.
Two separate lounges are offered, the Senator Lounge (for Star Alliance Gold and First Class) and the Business Lounge (for Business Class), meaning the lounges shouldn’t be overly packed.
Clean toilets with shower facilities on request.
Nap rooms available as per usual.
Large luggage lockers positioned near the entrance.
The Cons
Seating does appear to be slightly limited, meaning the lounge could be unpleasant in peak times.
The Judgement
Well, Lufthansa really knows how to do their lounges well. There is almost nothing negative I can say about the Senator Lounge in Munich, as it provides everything you could possibly need in a beautiful environment, located a short walk from the H gates. Lufthansa, you’ve done well!
